Alison Warrick
Hi, I’m Alison, owner and creator of AW Virtual Assistant, based in beautiful Dumfries and Galloway (ok I’m probably a wee bit biased but it is really beautiful).
I bring to the business a wealth of admin experience, predominantly in the NHS, ranging from Filing Clerk, Clerical Officer, Project Administrator, Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant and Corporate Governance Officer, this included Staff Supervision, supporting a Corporate Board, Complaint Handling, Records Management and the role of Standards Officer.
I thrive on organisation and structure, bringing order to even the most chaotic business environments. Whether it’s email and diary management, chasing invoices, tax preparation, writing policies and procedures, copy/audio typing or file management – I’ve done it all. My meticulous nature ensures that every task is handled with precision and efficiency. My goal is to streamline processes and create seamless systems that enhance productivity and clarity for the businesses I support. If there’s a task that requires a detailed and organised approach, you can count on me to get it done.
When I’m not working I can be found walking my dogs Ole and Bruce (who can be found lying under my desk when I’m working), spending weekends away with my husband and our dogs in our camper/motorhome and spending time with my family and friends.
